A small amount of suncream (half a teaspoon) also helps to adjust the skin sebum (oil) and get rid of skin problems. In the morning instead of moisturising cream apply sun cream which will help to protect you from harmful sun rays. Choose a cream that is rich of minerals, for example, with zinc.

5. Exfoliate

Once a week, gently exfoliate your skin. This helps to remove dead cells and cleans clogged pores. After exfoliating, use a clay mask, which reduces the excretion of oil and tightens the skin pores.

6. Avoid Powdering Your Nose

Don’t try to hide skin gloss with matte effect or other pressed powders. It will clog the pores and skin will produce more oil. Remove the skin gloss with the grease absorbent wipes that you can buy in cosmetics stores.

7. Moisturise Before Bed

Before bed, use a light moisturising serum. It should contain salicylic or glycolic acid. Don’t apply to the nose area as this produces enough naturally.

You can’t stop your skin from producing oil. What you can do is remove oil on the surface of the skin and reduce the skin shine. Women need to remember that a lot of things depend on their own lifestyle choices.
